Intel has proved that information is in fact beautiful, with their latest project, The Museum of Me. It couples up with Facebook, collecting statistics about your personal social media experience, and then creates a visual archive of your social life, in a beautifully laid out virtual exhibition space.
This project brings about an educational experience that wows, if only formal education could be this informative! On the one hand, the entire portrayal is super personal, displaying which friends you interact with the most, between which parts of the world you communicate the most, and which words are most commonly used on your wall. On the other hand it is quite humbling to see how your entire online life can be translated into a few minutes of visual stats.
